T-Race MotoGP Automatic Chronograph Limited Edition

Traditionally, Tissot offers two different versions, available in limited quantities. The Tissot T-Race MotoGP Automatic Chronograph with the referent number T048.427.27.057.02 is powered with the Caliber C01.211 mechanical movement and it is recognizable by its blue elements on the dial

Its bike-inspired dial comprises two chronograph counters, as well as a small seconds sub-dial which is located at the 9 o’clock position. The hour and minute hands are filled with Super-LumiNova that provides the best legibility in low light conditions. Arabic numerals 12 and 6 are cut-out and it is yet another interesting detail. An engraved see-through case back is a special treat for all watch aficionados.

A 60 minutes tachymeter scale is set on the dial periphery and nicely rounds the dial surface. There is also an oversized magnifying lens for date reading which is placed at the 3 o’clock position. T-Race MotoGP Automatic Watch will be produced in a series of 3,333 pieces.

This dynamic looking timepiece tells the story of motorbike evolution through the design. They reflect some robust aspects of the bikes, for example, the bezel illustrates the bike’s break disc, its counters, its carbon composition…

Its dynamic black based silicone straps with blue T-lines that race around the wrist reflect a sporty and dynamic way of living. But the new MotoGP collection does not reflects only that, but also a taste for style.

This MotoGP timepiece is housed in a stainless steel case that measures 45.3mm x 50.25mm. The thickness varies from 16.09mm for the mechanical model to 12.67mm for quartz version. Both wristwatches are domed with sapphire crystals and provide water resistance of up to 100 meters (about 330 feet).
